Northwestern University Charles Deering Memorial Library 1 Photograph

I really enjoy the special architecture of days past that created amazing libraries. The Deering Library at Northwestern University is a beautiful space to study or just admire the design. Especially in all the small details like the stairs leading up to the main hall, as a monk stands guard holding a scroll in his hands. The library was built in 1933, it was modeled after King's College Chapel in Cambridge, England.
