In Chinese as Kǒngquè Míngwáng, in Vietnamese as Khổng Tước Minh Vương, in Japanese as Kujaku Myōō, in Korean as GongJakMyeongWang, or as Mahāmāyūrī Vidyārājñī the female Wisdom King in Mahayana Buddhism. She is known as the 'Queen of the secret sciences' and Mahamayuri is believed to have the power to protect devotees from poisoning, either physical or spiritual.
