Angel Oak Tree 3 Photograph

I was so excited to visit South Carolina and see all the oak trees. The tree I wanted to visit most was the Angel Oak Tree on Johns Island. The Angel Oak Tree is estimated to be 400-1500 years old, stands 66.5 ft tall, and measures 28 ft in circumference. From tip to tip Its longest branch distance is 187 ft. It is so big I could even use its own branch to frame it. There is considerable debate about the age of the Angel Oak, either way it is a very special tree.
